Hello fellow Colerain Township and Mt. Healthy School District residents.  My name is Douglas Frazier and I have lived in the community for 25 years.

I am running for the Mt. Healthy School Board because I am deeply committed to the success of our students, the strength of our schools, and the future of our community. My diverse background in public service, education, and leadership has prepared me to bring a unique and valuable perspective to the board.

As a Gulf War Veteran, I have served my country with honor, and I understand the importance of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance—values that are essential in both education and leadership.  I hold Bachelor of Science and a Master’s degree in Information Systems from the University of Hawaii, I have a strong foundation in technology and innovation. In today’s digital world, it is critical that we equip our students with the skills needed to succeed in an increasingly tech-driven economy.

Additionally, I hold a Bachelor of Arts from Xavier University and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Villanova University, which have provided me with a well-rounded education and a deep understanding of governance, policy, and organizational management—skills that will allow me to make informed, strategic decisions on behalf of our students, teachers, and families.

As a recently retired Cincinnati Police Sergeant, I have firsthand experience in building community relationships, ensuring safety, and fostering positive environments. I recognize the vital role that safe and supportive schools play in student success, and I am dedicated to working collaboratively with educators, parents, and stakeholders to create the best possible learning environment.

If elected, I will advocate for strong academic programs, responsible budgeting, school safety, and expanded opportunities for all students. My experience in public service, leadership, and education has prepared me to serve our schools with integrity, dedication, and a focus on student success.
